Optional activities at participant’s cost include:

Shopping, visit the Monkey Forest or other nearby Temples, visits to gold/silver/wood carving villages, learning to make traditional Balinese offerings, additional massages or spa treatments, surfing, scuba diving, kayaking, local temple ceremonies, cultural dances/events and much more. We would be pleased to assist you in arranging these!

To participate in group travel arrangements for discounted airfare, Deposit required before September 1st (must be prepared to purchase your plane tickets at this time).

Passports:
To be allowed in Indonesia you must have a valid passport that contains one full blank page and must be valid for 6 months from the time of your scheduled departure. If you are an American, Australian or EU citizen there is Visa on arrival at the Denpasar airport for US $25, exact change required. Please be aware that there is also a departure tax of $15. Members of Asian countries do need a visa. If you are from another country, please read about visa requirements and other important details in the Travel Bali Section on www.balispirit.com.

Flights:
The retreat package does not include airfare. We are looking into group rates so give us a call ASAP so you can possibly get a discounted rate. If this is of interest, please be prepared to buy your ticket before the end of September. Flights are cheaper flying out of (LAX) Los Angeles if you're in San Diego (SAN), and you will be flying into (DPS) Ngurah Rai Airport, Denpasar, Bali. You should fly out no later than the 2nd to arrive by the 4th. The flight takes around 19 hours with usually one plane change (in Taiwan, Singapore or Korea), and as we will cross the International dateline, they are one day ahead. Carlsbad McClellan-Palomar Airport (CLD) also has commuter flights to LAX if you prefer, though availability is more limited.

Accommodations:
All accommodations during our scheduled retreat are included in the retreat package. If you would like to extend your stay in Bali, we would be delighted to assist you with making arrangements in advance or while in Bali. More detailed information on accommodations will be provided upon registration.

Calling Home:
There are shops all over Ubud where you may pay to make calls or use the internet. The code to call outside the country is: 008+country code (001 for U.S.A.) +area code+ number.
